Christian Aid commissioned Stream7 to produce a high-quality video that would support their communications and help tell their story in a clear, authentic and engaging way. As a global charity working to tackle poverty and injustice, Christian Aid required content that reflected their values while being suitable for use across digital platforms.
Stream7 worked on the creative brief in partnership with the Christian Aid and Storm Ceceile, the spoken word artist from the very beginning of the project. Our team provided a full service content creation pipeline, managing the entire process from initial ideas through to final delivery, ensuring a smooth production journey and a clear creative direction.
To support the tone of the film, Stream7 sourced a location that could act as a blank canvas. This flexible space allowed us to design the look and feel of the shoot, building atmosphere through lighting and layout to enhance the storytelling. The unique location, also lent its characteristics to the film further driving the narrative.
We liaised directly with all talent involved, coordinating schedules, sharing creative briefs and supporting contributors throughout the filming process. This helped create a relaxed and professional environment, allowing genuine performances to be captured on camera.
Stream7 supplied full filming equipment and an experienced crew, with specialists across camera, sound and production roles. A bespoke lighting package was brought in to transform the location. Our team also went the extra mile to source vintage cinema lenses from the 1950’s aiming to give the audience a distinctly intimate and tactile viewing experience and to capture a dreamy, organic texture that modern digital glass simply can’t replicate, helping us execute our creative vision for this project
Post-production was handled in full by Stream7, with the edit delivered in 4K to meet current and future requirements. The rushes were carefully crafted into a polished final edit, with feedback incorporated along the way to ensure the deliverables met Christian Aid’s requirements from a technical point of view but also their objectives as an organisation in order to be ready for release. The content we produced was published on YouTube and social media.
The final video provides Christian Aid with a compelling piece of content that communicates their message with clarity and impact. Through thoughtful planning, creative production and high-quality post-production, Stream7 delivered a film that supports Christian Aid’s ongoing digital communications and storytelling.
