International Confex is one of the UK’s leading exhibitions for the events industry, bringing together thousands of event professionals, venues, agencies and suppliers each year at ExCeL London. For Stream7, the 2026 show was an opportunity not just to exhibit, but to demonstrate how live streaming, broadcast technology and event studios can work together in real event environments.
Throughout the show, Stream7 used the stand to showcase live content production and streaming workflows in action. The goal was simple - move beyond a traditional exhibition stand and instead demonstrate how event production works in practice.
To achieve this, Stream7 partnered with Optima 1 to create a live broadcast link between Fruition’s mobile media facility in the Media Village and the Stream7 stand on the exhibition floor. Using professional broadcast tools and bonded connectivity, the team created a real-time live stream between the two locations, giving visitors a live demonstration of how event studios and streaming technology can work across multiple spaces within a venue or further afield.
International Confex provided the perfect environment to demonstrate modern event production. With multiple theatres, stages and networking spaces running across the exhibition hall, it mirrored the type of busy environment where live streaming and content capture are increasingly required.
Fruition’s Optima 1 mobile media facility was positioned within the Media Village, acting as a professional broadcast studio capable of producing live sessions and recorded content. At the same time, the Stream7 stand operated as a second event studio environment, designed to receive and display the live broadcast feed.
This setup allowed the Stream7 team to demonstrate a full broadcast workflow during the event. Content was produced from the Optima 1 facility and streamed live across the show floor to the Stream7 stand, where visitors could see the output in real time.
The activation effectively showed how event content can be captured in one location and delivered instantly to another, without the need for traditional fixed studio infrastructure.
At the heart of the production workflow was Vizrt broadcast technology.
Vizrt systems were used to manage the live production workflow and switching of the broadcast feed. This allowed Stream7 to produce professional live content from the Optima 1 facility and transmit it directly to the Stream7 stand.
By using professional broadcast tools in a temporary event environment, the demonstration showed how event organisers can achieve the same level of production quality typically associated with television studios.
For agencies and event organisers visiting the stand, this helped illustrate how broadcast quality production can be integrated into events of all sizes, from conferences and exhibitions to hybrid events and brand activations.
Delivering a reliable live stream across a busy exhibition environment requires robust connectivity.
Exhibition venues can present challenges when it comes to internet reliability, particularly when thousands of attendees and exhibitors are all competing for bandwidth. To ensure a stable live stream between the two locations, the setup used bonded connectivity solutions from Dejero.
Dejero technology combines multiple network connections into a single blended stream, increasing reliability and maintaining stable video transmission even in high traffic environments.
This meant the Stream7 team could transmit a consistent live video feed from the Optima 1 truck to the stand without relying solely on venue internet infrastructure.
The connectivity solution was supplied with support from SiliconnSavvy, ensuring the broadcast workflow remained stable throughout the show.
While the Optima 1 facility handled the production side of the workflow, the Stream7 stand allowed visitors to see the results in real time.
Large screens displayed the live feed coming from the mobile media facility, allowing attendees to watch the content being produced live on the exhibition floor. The stand itself was designed as a relaxed event studio environment, demonstrating how professional content can be created in a comfortable, informal setting.
This setup helped start conversations with event organisers, agencies and brands attending Confex, many of whom were interested in how live streaming and content creation could be integrated into their own events.
