In December, TransUnion brought teams together for their end of year Town Hall, combining a live in person event with a global online broadcast to create an inclusive company conference. Held on 16 December at North Church in Leeds, the event needed to work seamlessly for those in the room while also engaging employees joining remotely from across the world.
Stream7 were appointed to deliver full event production, including sound, lighting, staging, live streaming and interactive technology, alongside the design and build of a bespoke gameshow set for a key segment within the programme.
The Town Hall welcomed an in house audience at North Church, with a further 400 employees joining online. The technical setup needed to balance a strong live experience in the room with a clear, reliable broadcast for remote viewers, ensuring everyone felt equally included in the event.
From early planning through to on site delivery, our team worked closely with TransUnion to design a production approach that supported presentations, interactive moments and entertainment, all within a single cohesive event.
We delivered complete sound and lighting across the venue, tailored to the church setting and the needs of a corporate Town Hall. The audio setup ensured clear speech and consistent sound levels throughout the event, supporting presenters, audience interaction and live broadcast requirements.
Lighting was designed to enhance the atmosphere in the room while also ensuring presenters and key moments were well lit for the live stream. This dual focus helped create a polished experience for both in person attendees and online viewers.
A standout moment of the Town Hall was an internal game inspired by Play Your Cards Right. Stream7 designed, built and installed a bespoke gameshow set specifically for this segment, transforming the venue for a high energy and highly visual part of the event.
Our team created the full stage environment, including the stage set background and a custom built gameshow desk. We managed the entire process from initial concept and design through to build, installation and integration with the wider technical setup. This also included sourcing and ordering printed cards and creating custom graphics to support the game.
The finished set added a strong visual focal point for both the in room audience and the live stream, helping the gameshow segment feel purposeful, engaging and professionally produced.
Alongside the in room experience, the Town Hall was live streamed to TransUnion employees around the world. We delivered a stable, high quality stream that allowed remote audiences to follow presentations, take part in interactive moments and feel connected to the event as it happened.
Slido was used to enable interaction for both in person and online attendees, allowing questions, polling and engagement to run across a single platform. This ensured that participation was consistent regardless of location, reinforcing the inclusive nature of the Town Hall.
The event ran smoothly from start to finish, with Stream7 managing all technical elements on site and supporting the client throughout the live delivery. By combining production expertise, creative set build and reliable streaming, the Town Hall successfully brought together teams in Leeds and across the globe.
For TransUnion, the event delivered a polished end of year moment that balanced business updates with fun and engagement. For employees, it created a shared experience that worked equally well in the room and online.
If you are planning a hybrid Town Hall, internal conference or global broadcast and need support with production, staging or live streaming, our team can help you deliver an event that connects audiences wherever they are.
