While the name of the client is confidential, we can share that it was a high-profile public sector organisation with a national footprint. The brief was to deliver an internal awards ceremony that felt professional, celebratory, and unified for all staff – including those at regional offices and remote locations.
With around 130 people attending in person and over 800 watching remotely via Microsoft Teams – including organised viewings in their offices across the UK – our team at Stream7 delivered a fully supported hybrid experience, combining live event production, professional broadcast streaming, and fast-turnaround content.

Creating a Premium Experience with Tecna Backdrop, Lighting & Sound
Awards ceremonies need to feel significant – particularly for clients in the public sector, where presentation reflects the professionalism of the wider organisation.
To create a visual centrepiece for the room and screen, we installed a custom Tecna modular backdrop. Tecna’s clean lines and flexible design options allowed us to create a slick, branded environment that felt polished and premium – setting the tone from the moment guests arrived.
We paired this with an awards lighting package that delivered a real wow factor. From stage washes to accent lighting and intelligent fixtures, the setup brought energy and theatre to every award announcement and speech. Importantly, it was also designed to look great on camera – giving the remote audience a rich and dynamic visual experience.
We also provided full professional sound support, with crystal-clear audio for in-room guests and broadcast-ready mixes for the stream. No matter where attendees were located, they heard every announcement, speech and cheer loud and clear.
Streaming via Microsoft Teams – Familiar Platform, Broadcast Standards
The ceremony was streamed live via Microsoft Teams – a platform the client’s staff were already familiar with. While Teams makes accessibility easy, it still requires a professional approach to make the broadcast seamless and engaging.
Our team handled everything behind the scenes: multiple camera angles, live switching, smooth transitions, and integration of branded visuals. We managed encoding and stream quality from end to end, ensuring the online experience matched the energy and professionalism of the room.
This hybrid model let our public sector client connect hundreds of team members without the cost and carbon footprint of bringing everyone to a central location – a smart, scalable solution aligned with both budget and sustainability goals.
Fast-Turnaround Highlights Video – Delivered in Under 24 Hours
The next morning, we delivered a highlights video capturing the spirit of the event – all within 24 hours.
This rapid turnaround allowed the client to quickly share a recap with all staff, including those who couldn’t attend live. The video featured winner moments, audience reactions, and the best of the celebration – edited to music and fully branded for internal use.
