Last week, we had the privilege of participating in the Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS) 2025 at Olympia London, where we joined Vizrt for a dynamic panel discussion titled “Embracing Technology for Seamless Live, Hybrid, and Virtual Events.” This session, held on May 14th in the Production Theatre, provided an invaluable platform to share our insights and experiences with a diverse audience of media professionals.
Sharing Our Journey
During the panel, our Technical Director Pete Amos, and Senior AV Technician Tom Smith, delved into the evolution of live event production, highlighting our transition from utilizing TriCaster Minis to supporting large-scale productions with Vizrt’s advanced tools. Our discussion emphasized the importance of scalability, flexibility, and innovation in delivering high-quality productions across various sectors - from medical conferences to music festivals.
Key Takeaways
- Hybrid Event Strategies: We explored the challenges and opportunities presented by hybrid events, stressing the need for seamless integration between in-person and virtual components.

Pete Amos, Technical Director at Stream7, reflected on the experience:
“Being part of the panel at MPTS with Vizrt was a brilliant opportunity to talk about how the right tools can completely change what’s possible for live events. We’ve seen first-hand how innovations like the TriCaster Vizion and NDI workflows are making it easier to deliver complex, broadcast-quality productions – even in unusual locations. It’s exciting to think where the technology will take us next.”
Looking Ahead
Our experience at MPTS 2025 reaffirmed our commitment to pushing the boundaries of live event production. Collaborating with industry leaders like Vizrt and engaging with fellow professionals provided fresh perspectives and inspiration for future projects.
We extend our gratitude to Vizrt for the opportunity to contribute to this meaningful dialogue and to all attendees who joined us for the session. As we continue to innovate and adapt, we look forward to implementing the insights gained at MPTS 2025 into our upcoming productions.
