Event Tech We’re Loving Right Now

Live event production is a constantly evolving field, and at Stream7 we’re always investing in the right tools to ensure we deliver professional, reliable results – no matter the location, audience size or complexity. While the tech itself might be complex, the benefits it brings to our clients are simple: more flexibility, better quality and smoother events.

Here’s a look at some of the equipment and technology we’re using right now – and how it helps us deliver seamless, high-impact events.

5G Bonding Technology

Delivering live broadcasts from almost anywhere

When you’re planning a live event or hybrid stream, one of the biggest concerns is often internet access. Many venues – especially outdoor spaces or older buildings – either have unreliable internet or none at all. That’s where 5G bonding comes in.

We use specialist equipment that combines multiple 4G and 5G mobile data connections into one strong and stable internet feed. This allows us to stream live video content from virtually any location, without needing to rely on a venue’s WiFi or fixed-line internet. It gives our clients complete freedom to choose the venue that best suits their event – whether it’s a city centre office, a rural estate or an exhibition hall – without worrying about connectivity.

Vizrt TriCaster

A powerful all-in-one system for broadcast-quality live production

The TriCaster is one of the most flexible and capable pieces of equipment in our setup. It’s a live video production system that allows us to switch between multiple cameras, add graphics and animations, bring in remote presenters, mix audio and stream the final result – all from one unit.

For our clients, this means their events look and feel like a professional TV broadcast, with smooth transitions, clear visuals, and the ability to incorporate pre-recorded content, slides, branding and audience interaction. The TriCaster supports 4K resolution, so the quality remains high whether it’s going to an internal Teams meeting or a public YouTube broadcast. It’s particularly useful for hybrid events and high-profile internal comms where professional presentation really matters.

Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2

High-quality video in any venue, under any conditions

Every event space presents its own challenges – from awkward lighting to unusual layouts. The URSA Broadcast G2 is a versatile camera that helps us overcome those challenges while maintaining consistent, high-end video quality.

Designed for both studio and on-location use, this camera captures detailed, vibrant footage that holds up well on large screens and live streams alike. Its ability to adapt to different lenses and setups means we can tailor it to suit everything from intimate panel discussions to large conferences and awards shows. For our clients, this means their events always look polished and professional, no matter where they’re held.

Shure Wireless Workbench

Real-time audio monitoring for crystal-clear sound

Clear, uninterrupted audio is just as important as great visuals – and nothing disrupts a live event faster than microphone interference. To avoid this, we use Shure Wireless Workbench – a professional-grade software that lets our audio engineers monitor all wireless microphone signals in real time.

This tool gives us a clear view of which radio frequencies are in use and allows us to identify and fix potential problems before they affect the show. It’s especially useful in venues where lots of wireless devices are in use, such as conference centres, or when working with large numbers of presenters. The end result is smooth, consistent sound that keeps your message front and centre.

Hollyland Solidcom M1 Wireless Comms

Reliable crew communication – even in busy environments

Effective communication behind the scenes is vital to running a smooth event. The Solidcom M1 is a wireless intercom system that allows our crew to stay in constant contact, no matter how large or busy the venue is.

These headsets provide clear, hands-free audio and work reliably across long distances – so camera operators, directors, and technicians can all stay in sync without shouting or relying on radios. They’re also compatible with other comms systems, which means we can integrate easily with in-house venue teams or other technical partners. For clients, this translates to a more coordinated team and fewer delays or mistakes on the day.

Why This Tech Matters to Our Clients

We don’t use advanced tech for the sake of it – we use it because it allows us to:

  • Deliver high-quality broadcasts from locations that wouldn’t normally be possible

  • Maintain professional standards in both video and audio

  • Respond quickly to challenges and last-minute changes

  • Work efficiently alongside in-house teams or other suppliers

  • Ensure smooth, seamless experiences for in-room and online audiences alike

Our goal is to make every event look and feel effortless, even when the setup behind the scenes is complex. These tools help us achieve that – and give our clients the peace of mind that their event is in safe hands.
