At Stream7, we’re proud to announce our sponsorship of a snowflake as part of this year’s Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity Snowflake Appeal. This heartwarming campaign is one we’re passionate about supporting, not just as a local business but as parents, families, and members of the Sheffield community.
Last night, our Head of Projects, Andy, and Business Development & Marketing Manager, Emily, attended the snowflake switch-on ceremony, a magical evening that saw the hospital illuminated with sparkling lights. The event, which raised an incredible £434,200 this year, was even featured on BBC Look North, highlighting the generosity and community spirit behind the appeal.
Emily shared her thoughts on why this partnership means so much to the team:
“The Snowflake Appeal means a lot to us personally as well as professionally. Many of our senior team have young children and have needed the amazing care at Sheffield Children’s Hospital over the years. Being part of something that helps support other families in similar situations is incredibly rewarding. The switch-on was such a special event, and we’re so proud to see our snowflake shining bright.”
The funds raised will help Sheffield Children’s Hospital continue to deliver world-class care, invest in vital equipment, and provide a comforting, welcoming environment for young patients and their families.
